⭐Now...Us! Story

Now, our songwriting, our dedication and our creativity.

No Angels took a small break. This was the first time No Angels wrote their own songs for their second Album "Now...Us!". Vany wrote her songs in the holiday. Vany also composed her song "Something About Us" and was more invested in this album.

With the help of Thorsten Brötzman and Alex Geringas, Vanessa wrote two songs, one was, "Something About us" and "Since I Found You".
Sandy wrote another song called "I Dont Know Why", but was declined. Jess, Lucy and Nadja also wrote their solo songs. Their songs have more of a mix of latin, soul, gospel and a spare of rnb sounds.

Sean Cheesman was the new choreographer and Holger Niklas Hafemann was the new vocal coach, also a Supervisor for recordings and trained their vocals to perfect their acapella and harmonies. From Feburary 2002, they all worked together  till to the final outcome.

Markus Sternberger was the top music video producer for this Album. He talked with the Angels about his and the angels ideas of the music videos and concepts to showe the messages in all the video as the No Angels wanted.

The NoA also choose, "Something About Us" as their first single over "2 Get Over You".

"2 Get Over You would have been the Labels choice and also to get a feature, that would have been, the band "HearSay". But few of the Angels even went so far to say, that "Something About Us" should be a single or else the No Angels going to get split up. The Girls stood behind every decision they made. The label let them have "Something About Us" as their first Single

It was rumored that, "2 Get Over You" would have been the first single. After a while a new rumor stood on the internet that said, "2 Get Over You" and "Something About Us" would been released as double a side.

In July 2002, No Angels official Website confirmed the rumors, that Jessy was pregnant. But she continued to work as an angel.

Because "2 Get Over You" got replaced by "Something About Us". No Angels has two features. with the legends, Donavan and Mousse T.

When The Angels Swing

The Labels watched Robbie Williams 40's style, Big Band concert. They were inspired to do this with the five girls, but with their own songs. The Big Band already did few demos to NoA's listed songs. Nik, No Angels vocal coach, decided to play the instrumental so the girls could guess which song belongs to which sound. The Angels brought their own ideas to include them with the ideas of their vocal coach and their label. Lucy also choreographed few songs for their up-coming swing concert, which was also planned. The No Angels had a lot to do, train for their up coming concert, record for their Swing Album, do a lots of interviews, photoshoots, performances, train for their tour, “Four Seasons Tour” and more.

When The Angels Swing concert was the way to get not the usal teen-audience but the mature, older people, who listens to the classical 40's/50's blues and jazz. Their approche was a big success but their wish was to continue with their pop genre.

Four Seasons Tour & The Labels decision

The concept for the next tour is about the four seasons.

Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Each of the angels would sing their own solo songs on the stage. Jess was pregnant at the time, so she couldn't participate to every songs like, "Still In Love With You", "Let's Go To Bed" and "Something About Us".

Sometimes the No Angels performed longer than on the 'Rivers Of Joy' tour.

No Angel Jess had a baby, but the label weren't happy with the situation. The labels didn't want another member of the band to be a mother because, they were afraid that the loss of not being together with a child would splited the band. That is why they told Jess to step down from the band but sold it to the media and to the fans that Jess wanted to separate from the band.

Vany, Lucy, Nadja and mostly Sandy were disappointed with this decision, but they had to continue to work on other projects that were already planned by the label.
